Treasures from New Orleans

My mom and dad recently went to New Orleans, which means they made their usual stop at Drago’s for some oysters and to Cafe Du Monde for beignets and coffee.

So when my mom came to visit for my birthday, I wasn’t surprised that one of my gifts was a treasure from New Orleans.

I love to make lists. To-do lists, grocery lists, wish lists, you name it. So I was thrilled when I opened one of my gifts to find a beautifully crafted note pad designed by New Orleans native, Alexa Pulitzer.

Pulitzer has utilized her experience in textiles and paper printing to create lovely paper goods that reflect her New Orleans background. Her stationary and notepads feature everything from alligators and fleur-de-lis to grey heron and Louisiana’s state bird, the pelican.

The notepad that I received from my mom has a chandelier design printed on recycled paper. Perfect for all of my lists while supporting a New Orleans artist as well!

I know where I’ll be getting my next stationery from!
