Inspiration Books

As much as I love reading my Vogue, Coastal Living and Caribbean Travel and Life, with so little space on the boat it’s not practical for me to keep magazines once I’ve looked through them a couple of times. That’s why I make what I call my “inspiration” books.

I tear out any articles, recipes, pictures, etc. that I like and I tape them in to notebooks with black pages. That way I’m able to save that inspiring article, beautiful photo or delicious looking recipe without filling up our spare space with piles of magazines.

Anytime I need a little inspiration for writing, painting or photography I look through my inspiration books and come up with new ideas from the images I’ve collected.

Sister!!! I Love this! I made a cloth covered journal the other day and am going to do a post soon about my new inspiration book. I love that even though we are sooo far away we are still totally on the same wave length.
